kahitsa picture man lang maging ka...Radon's Eurobike 2013
The biggest highlight in Radon's Eurobike both was this snazzy new Slide 160 Carbon. Offering 160mm travel combined with 27.5-inch wheels, this one's aimed at the enduro and all-mountain scene. It is the company's first carbon offering in the line, and the frame weighs an impressive 1.9kg without a shock.
Ghost introduced the Riot at Eurobike. A 130mm travel trail bike, it features a brand new suspension system developed in house. The XTR build shown here weighs in at a mere 11.2 kg.
Santa Cruz have released the Bantam – a shorter travel take on the Heckler, built around 27.5 wheels. With 125mm travel and an entry level price point of $2599 with a Deore level build, the Bantam is aimed at trail riders looking for a fun and affordable trail bike.
After the SB-66 and the SB-95, Yeti is introducing the SB-75 – a reiteration of the “SuperBike” concept molded around 27.5-inch wheels.
Yeti is also updating its classic 575 frame – from this point on it will be offered in 27.5” only. The frame is still based on the ASR suspension but has been redesigned to accommodate the new wheelsize.
Just like the Sight, the Range has now gone carbon as well. Norco claims a 20% weight loss over the aluminum frame. They also slackened the bike by 0.5 degrees based on feedback from their Enduro World Cup squad.
All-new for 2014, the Snabb follows similar lines as the new Fuzz DH bike. Designed with the Enduro racer in mind, this rig has 163mm of travel, internal routing, and 27.5" wheels. Weight is claimed to be 13.9kg.
Available Winter 2013, the new Warden has 27.5" wheels, an aluminum alloy frame with a frame weight of 6.75-pounds with FOX CTD shock, and Knolly's patented 4x4 suspension design. Head angle is adjustable from 67 to 66 degrees, bb from 347 to 335mm, and chainstays are set at 429mm with a 12x142mm rear dropout.
This safety orange colored machine will be available in all three wheel sizes for 2014. Th 27.5" variety has a slacker 66 degree head angle, the same 430mm stays, but an updated front triangle with kinked seat tube to accommodate the wheelsize. There's an inch of additional seat tube clearance, 160mm of travel, and internal dropper routing to get excited about..
This 140mm travel all-purpose rig will be available in 27.5 and 29-inch flavor for 2014. The 27.5 model has been lengthened 20mm compared to the old 26, and like the Covert the seat tubes have been shortened. 68 degree head angle, 430mm stays, 12x142mm rear, and internal dropper routing. Yeehaw.
Pivot's new Mach 6 has been a few years in the making. The carbon frame packs 155mm travel via a "next generation" dw-link design. BB height is 13.6", head angle 66 degrees.
Rocky's new Thunderbolt is billed as 27.5 inches of flat out fun. The XC tuned Smoothlink design is said to deliver exceptional climbing traction and stable pedaling platform. A 142mm E-Thru rear axle increases stiffness, internal cable routing keeps cables neatly stowed, “Stealth” dropper-post routing tucks the housing inside the frame, and the BB92 pressfit bottom bracket provides maximum lateral stiffness. The 770 model shown here comes in at 27.9 pounds.
Someone did it. 27.5" front, 26" rear. That's for the medium size. If you bump up to the XL you'll get a 29" front, 27.5" rear. And XS has a 26" front, 24" rear. Interesting...
160mm travel, 12x142 rear end, 3.2kg frame weight with shock, 27.5" wheels, and killer looks on this rig.
Canyon introduced several new bikes here at Eurobike. First up the Spectral, a 130/140mm travel trail bike available with 27.5 or 29” wheels.
Norco's Faze looks to bring some 27.5" action
